The Bible primarily tells the story of God’s actions to create a human family (Image Bearers) in the context of a good creation, their tragic rebellion, followed by God’s actions to redeem both his Image Bearers and creation through Jesus Christ (the True Image Bearer). We live in a time between Jesus’ incarnation, life, death, resurrection, ascension to the Father and Jesus’ return. Jesus is coming again when, together with his Church, he will deliver the kingdom to the Father after destroying every rule, authority and power (1 Corinthians 15).

Nosotros (su Iglesia) no hemos sido dejados solos. Se nos ha dado el Espíritu Santo, que nos ha adoptado en la comunión trinitaria de Dios, nos ha unido a nuestro Señor Jesucristo y nos está renovando para vivir y amar más como él. Ya no somos esclavos, sino hijos e hijas. Vivimos en una historia diferente. Despertar a esta nueva realidad y comprometerse con ella es la clave del proceso de renovación. Estamos arraigados en el amor de Dios y de su pueblo en Jesús. Estamos llamados a servir a sus propósitos en todo el mundo.
